Leaky faucets… Old faucets… really old faucets that have been resting unused for years complain when asked to go back to work. They were sure they had fulfilled their purpose and could just rest on their laurels… well, we thought we could just remind them they have a lot of life left in them. But, the poor babies have called it quits. Now… what to do with perpetually dripping faucets. Have shut-off valves installed for not just the sink but the tub too!
Because the air conditioning ducts will be installed soon Scott is going to be installing the PEX Aluminum Heat Transfer Plates. Then, once the ductwork is in he will install the radiant reflective barrier, the ceilings go back up and we will have a room just needing walls and floors completed.
I had wanted to start sewing, but until the PEX Aluminum Heat Transfer Plates and AC ductwork are in place in the sewing room, it is futile. Though we will still need to put in the ceiling, hopefully, in the next month enough will be done I can safely set up my sewing room.
So many tiny pieces dependent on other pieces. It is fun playing with our Chinese puzzle Cottage and figuring out how to juggle each aspect of putting it all together. It could drive us crazy, or because we both love puzzles it could be the challenge of a lifetime that we both so love. We choose the challenge…
The aspect we love most about living in this part of the world is the struggle Spring goes through to push Winter out the door. Monday it was in the high 70s today we will be fortunate to see 50. Spring flourishing through the chaotic, magnificent, frenetic, swings of Winter’s struggle to linger is a wonder to behold. Do we enjoy being solidly in the Northern part of our country? That is a definite Yes!
