Our new trees arrived. The old ones have not been removed yet… Early next week they will be gone, but until then we need to care for our delicate new flowering and fruit trees.
Today we ordered the flooring for our new kitchens. Adirondack Wood Floor Company is so busy it will at least six weeks before we have any flooring. Guess our kitchens will be a while before they are finished… Maybe by fall?
Next week John from Herrl Woodcraft will come and help us figure out our cabinet arrangement. And we have samples of tin coming for our kitchen ceilings. We are deciding between Silver Tuscan Bronze, Pewter, Silver Washed Pewter, Gunmetal, and Silver Brushed Bronze. We are leaning toward the Silver Washed Pewter in the butterfly pattern…
More dirt was removed from the basement yesterday. But, when we will have AC is anyone’s guess. So we keep plugging along on our garden and the projects we are able to accomplish while waiting for the plumbing and AC to be completed…
And, Happy came through the surgery fine. Six teeth are all that remain, but she/he is healthy and recovering nicely…
