Oh how we wish… Our AC/Heating person has reverted to his previous state of not showing up to finish the little bit of work remaining on our AC/heating systems. We knew last week, for a couple of days, he had a family emergency, but he said he was coming yesterday. No word! No show! Oh, how we wish he would at least let us know when he changes his plans to not show up…
Roof update… Jeremiah and his crew worked as long as they could yesterday. They installed new shingles on the portion of the roof where they had removed the years of old shingles. But due to another band of thunder storms they needed to shut down their work. We are so grateful they did because shortly after their departure we had a lightning strike within four miles of our cottage. It was brief but very loud and potentially dangerous.
Koala Sewing Cabinet update… Yesterday I received a call from the cabinet makers to confirm our configuration of the cabinet we had chosen. Then they informed me that it will be a little over a month before we will receive the cabinet. Yay! Maybe the ceiling will be complete and the room painted before it arrives.
