Oh how good it feels! All the shoddy workmanship that was done by Patrick St. Pierre of Efficient Heating and Cooling is being corrected. Patrick’s work that does not meet code standards is being corrected. We are moving several steps closer to having a livable home… Whoopee!
Now we have a sink that actually works in our second floor bathroom. Small, but very functional… Works perfect for our limited space… And, we love it! We love it so much it will also be the sink for our third floor bathroom when it is installed.
Joe and Randy installed drywall on the ceiling in our sewing room and the torn out section over our fireplace. The ceiling and fireplace insert still need to be taped and mudded, but that has to wait for Larry to complete his basement work before they can proceed.
Glenn has installed new pipes and new drains… We are ready to connect the downstairs bathroom, bakery sink and dishwasher as soon as the basement is completed.
Steve and Larry… and Zachery, Steve’s son, laid electrical wire needed for our fireplaces. Now we are connecting Glenn, our plumber, with Dominick from Pine Lake Stoves to share the schematics on the fireplaces for proper placement of the gas lines.
Existing damaged flooring in our future bedroom needs to be pulled up. We are ordering the same fir flooring from Adirondack Wood Flooring . They will be installing the new flooring where the damaged floor was, then refinishing the whole room. We must start this process so we are in line… on their waiting list too!
So though we are still living in a construction zone, projects are being progressing…
