MishMash…

Emmi was scheduled for his biopsy on Monday. I called the vet a few days ago and asked, “Is it possible to repeat the bloodwork and if it had returned to normal would the biopsy still be necessary?”
They agreed we could repeat the bloodwork and if it was normal the biopsy could be canceled. Well, today we drew blood. The results were absolutely normal. Emmi is back to healthy levels across the board. No biopsy is needed. Though… we will be watching him closely and he will have repeat tests every three months to make sure he is staying stable.

We are still waiting for tubing to be replaced so Scott can insulate and seal the living room and second floor bedroom. And, the basic plumbing still needs to be cut in before he can close up the bedroom or start on our closet.

I took another picture of our primary kitchen counter top so you can see the complexity and texture of the grain. Walking into my kitchen I find myself caressing the cabinets and counter tops. They both have such healing energy. I love being in my kitchen, wiping down the countertop or the cabinet doors… then running my hands over them. I can hardly wait for winter to arrive and Scott has time to install the backsplash. My spice racks are a long way down the road, but someday…
