First, to all our friends and family(by blood and heart) in Hawai’i. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Please stay safe.
Second, I realized I may have not explained our ease at living with construction quite clearly.
Our wonderful beautiful son, Joshua, was so medically fragile that we never knew what day or hour we would be not only in the hospital but in ICU. We never knew when we went out for an adventure if we would end up at home or the hospital. We lived that way for over 15 years. Waiting for construction to be completed is a breeze by comparison.
Yes, someday the construction will be over, but we’re not going to waste our time missing the joy of each moment. Since we’ve been here is the first time Scott and I have actually had time to be with each other… since we got married. That is a joy we choose to not squander.
Someday everything will all be in place, but in the meantime we are still together having fun…
