Update: For the next two weeks, posts will be sporadic. Until September 15 work on our cottage is pretty much in limbo, therefore posts will be pretty much in limbo too.
Yesterday Emmy needed to visit Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital because she had regurgitated bile several mornings in a row. We needed to know she was not developing a medical issue. Emmy saw Dr. Katelyn Sharpe who questioned us about Emmy’s feeding schedule. When we explained we now went to bed earlier in the evening (6:30) and the puppies insisted on going to bed with us, she offered a suggestion.
But, before her suggestion, both she and Tammy, their Veterinary Assistant, almost collapsed in disbelief that we went to bed so early. We told them, “For all our lives we were always up late into the night and up before dawn. Now is our time to relax and have fun.”
It was after expressing their jealousy at our relaxed life, she offered, “Maybe, if you fed them a little later? Emmy’s tummy may be too empty from the long time between feedings.”
So we adjusted their feeding schedule. This morning Emmy is fine…
