Yes, it is Friday… and our blog has not appeared on Fridays for an extended time… Until today! There are a couple of updates that would be outdated by Monday, so here we go… Snow! We learned that this part of the country (Upstate New York) has not four seasons each year, but five. In this area we have Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Mud… At this time, as we are leaving winter behind (I seem to be the only one in mourning) Mud Season is moving in with considerable speed.…

Our weather seems to be leaving winter behind. Yes, some days are still chilly, but warmer days are occurring each week.  Saturday night, Winter Storm Noah blessed us with about 6 inches of snow. Sunday it was warm. Monday it was warmer. Today and tomorrow are going to be in the 50s and 60s. Sigh……

It has taken us a while to recognize that living in a house on the mainland is different than living in a house or condo in Hawaii. In Hawaii we have breezes and salt air all the time keeping our lungs healthy and strong. During the winter here, houses become quite dry and need humidity…

Well, Liam decided to give us a beautiful snowstorm. We accumulated over 6 inches of fresh snow. Yesterday was lovely and sunny.
