Well, Winter Storm Avery promised between 6” to 18” of snow. Though it did snow all night, I regret to inform you that if we acquired six inches, it was an extremely scant six inches. Sigh
But, Saturday night gave us a slight dusting and last night another two inches of that fluffy white stuff. So with all the settling we probably have a reliable six inches now. Every time it starts to snow, Scott announces it and I giggle in delight… hoping we acquire three or four feet this winter…
They are predicting snow tonight and tomorrow. We’ll see…

One small window has a completed frame.
All the wood for the other three windows is cut and being put together. Once they are stained he will paint the walls then put the frames up.
Our copper ceiling is due to arrive the end of this week.
Window frames, painted walls, a ceiling… just the fireplace and curio cabinet to go… our room is growing closer to becoming reality…
