I know it’s been forever since we posted… Well, not forever, but 6 1/2 months. First you may notice we have a new design for our website. It took my web designers several months to complete all the changes and move everything to the new design. Then, I have had to learn how to navigate these new modules. We hope you like the changes.
We now offer three areas for your pleasure to explore… our Blog which you have followed since the beginning… we added Thought for the Day… and Gallimaufry… And, making comments should be more user friendly. Please explore and enjoy our expansions… If you run into a problem, let me know so we can fix it!
Our first and primary hope is that each of you are safe and well and remain that way. Know that each of you have been in our thoughts and prayers.
Scott and I remain self-isolated even though New York State numbers have dropped precipitously. We are just too old to think this Covid-19 virus would be friendly!
After several months of taking a break from home remodeling, Scott has returned to his tasks at hand. At the moment he is working on remodeling the middle tiny bedroom into a walk-in closet for us.
Not sure how many of you remember that all our ceilings had to be pulled down a second time because the correct connectors for our heating system were the wrong ones and had already begun to rust out.
The first thing Scott had to do was reinstall all the aluminum bubble wrap and fiber glass insulation between the ceiling joists. Now Scott is re-installing the actual ceiling.
This time, because it is a closet, he is using cedar. Tongue in groove cedar… a trick to install overhead. It is a slow process because putting up each board and achieving a good connection takes time. By the time he’s completed two or three boards his arms have lost all blood flow and I insist he stop for the day. He must keep his arms working for proper hugs… ?
Looking good. Glad you are back!
I am too! ?
Cedar walk in, how nice!
Yes! I am excited!
