We are a balmy 14 above. Most of the cottage is cozy.
Correction: ‘our’ sewing room is cozy.
The rest of the second floor? Livable.
Exceptions? The master bedroom and kitchen… our wayward rooms.
The kitchen is the only serious challenge… a chilly 48.
The master bedroom is in the low 60s… very manageable.
Even without proper insulation, our cottage handles temperatures down to zero. It’s ‘those’ minus numbers that cause trouble… add wind? Warming becomes a challenge.
Today there is no wind… teeny snow flurries from winter storm Indra are falling. Temperatures are expected to rise. We are safe and warm…
